Shriram Foundation organised and conducted a 2-day Summer Camp in four different locations in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. The camp took place in Agiripalli and Khambampadu on April 10 and 11, and thereafter in Pamarru and Kondapalli on April 12 and 13, 2017. The camp was for children from classes 6 to 9, hailing from the 25 schools the Foundation supports. Around 800 children attended, making the venture a success. The activities conducted during the camp centred on Art and Craft, Folk Dance, First Aid, Zumba, as well as Math Modelling and Science experiments. The programs helped the children acquire skills and knowledge useful to them in terms of their academics, as well as promote good health and creativity. It was covered in local news media.
