Christmas Celebration
at Vasavya Mahila Mandali,Vijayawada
In the spirit of celebrating the cheer and joy of Christmas, the Shriram Foundation team at Vijayawada conducted a program at the Children’s Home run by Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM). VMM is a not-for-profit organization that works with marginalized women and youth, empowering them through education, healthcare awareness and various other community initiatives.
On the day of the celebration, 17th December, 2016, the children and staff enthusiastically participated in the arrangements, including decorating the hall and the X-mas tree. The program started at 6.30 p.m and went on till 10.30 p.m. The program was presided by the VMM staff and the SF team members. The cultural programs included a dance and song by the children. Then, gifts were distributed to them followed by cake cutting and distribution of snacks. The program ended with Vote of Thanks by the VMM Management team and children.
